Meet the Team — San Rafael, CA (16 January 2019) — The San Rafael Pacifics are pleased to announce that the franchise has been purchased by Gabriel Suarez. A former professional ballplayer with the Expos, Nationals, Rockies, Phillies, Astros, and Dodgers organizations, Suarez began owning and operating minor league franchises after he retired in 2013.  He started with the Joplin Blasters from 2013 to 2016 and continued with the Cleburne Railroaders from 2016 to 2018.  Suarez has also branched out into the golf industry. In 2018, Suarez partnered with a professional golfer and together they founded the Elite Tour™. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, it is the first progressive golf tour to officially enable men, ladies, and seniors to compete together and participate in training programs specifically designed to help them advance to the big tours. Alongside his sports entrepreneurship, Suarez is an accomplished businessman who has operated a real estate business in Arizona since 2009, focusing on property management, rentals, and investments.

Joining the Pacifics’ front office this year is Conner Wackerman, the team’s new Assistant General Manager.  Wackerman began his professional sports career after he graduated from Missouri State University in 2016 where he worked for the Joplin Blasters.  From there he worked with the Arkansas Travelers, the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, before joining the San Rafael Pacifics.

Delaine Robinson will serve as the team’s host family coordinator, website director, and office manager.  Robinson worked with the Joplin Blasters for three years, running the team’s front office while also teaching high school in Columbus, KS. She coordinates student group tours to Europe every other year and has taken groups to England, France, and Italy.  

Jessica Riemenschneider, a native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, will be taking over as the team’s Event Director.  Riemenschneider began her career doing business-to-business sales with the Kansas City Royals before moving on to event production. There, Riemenschneider has worked with Live Nation and Block Party running large scale events at Temple University, Southern Methodist University, University of North Texas, and various concert outlets throughout the Northeast.  She has also marketed and built teams for Block Party in Dallas, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona.

Rounding out the front office is ‘Tiffany Louise’ Ozherelyeva who is working for the Pacifics team as the Technology & Brand Operations Director. Tiffany Louise is an accomplished SME brand activator, startup specialist, and compliance advisor. She founded Illumines in 2011, a company assisting businesses with establishing their brands, implementing sustainable business practices, and building their companies. Her experience spans the golf and coaching industries, nonprofits, and global startups. She is also the Chief Brand Officer for Elite Tour™ and is completing her law degree.
